PLEASE NOTE: If your pet only needs a distemper shot or a microchip, you can sign up for our distemper/chip clinic, on Saturday, August 8, here – pgspca.org/booster. We do not offer rabies at this clinic.

We are offering the following services at our Sunday clinic:

Rabies $20 – ANIMALS MUST BE 12 WEEKS (3 MONTHS) OLD TO GET A RABIES VACCINATION
If you are requesting a rabies shot for your pet, and you have proof of prior rabies vaccination, be sure to bring the paperwork documenting that earlier shot for a vaccination good for 3 years. Otherwise, this shot will be valid for one year.

Distemper $20 – ANIMALS MUST BE 6 WEEKS OLD TO GET A FIRST DISTEMPER SHOT
Distemper is a series of shots, given 3-4 weeks apart. The first time your pet gets a distemper shot, it must be boosted in one month for full immunity. Young puppies and kittens need a monthly booster until they are 4 months old. Once the series is complete, the animal then requires just an annual booster.

Microchip $35
A microchip is a small, electronic chip enclosed in a glass cylinder that is about the same size as a grain of rice. It contains a unique identification number that, when scanned, reveals the pet owner’s contact information stored in a microchip registry database. This helps reunite lost or found pets with their owners.
