Hi, I'm Sylvie

Bonjour! I’m Sylvie, a gorgeous mottled grey tabby girl with big, soulful eyes. People sometimes tell me my eyes look a little sad, but don’t let that fool you – I am secretly bursting with love, playful energy, and purrs! I can be a bit shy when meeting new people or adjusting to new places, but with a tiny bit of patience, gentle love (and tasty treats!), I will be snuggling up right next to you in no time.

PERSONALITY

Once I feel comfortable, I am an absolute sweetheart who loves head scratches and purring myself to sleep beside my favorite human. I’m a sensitive lady who prefers to keep all four paws firmly on the ground — being picked up makes me a little nervous, and I might give a tiny, indignant “squeak!” to protest! I also play pretty hard with other kittens (I take my wrestling matches seriously!), so I do best with playful cat buddies who enjoy a spirited game of chase.

Favorite Toy: A pink plastic spring! You can tell how much I adore the pink one because of how fiercely I guard it. (Sorry, but the yellow spring just isn’t on the same vibe level!)

Favorite Napping Spot: I am a total sucker for heated cat beds, even in the middle of summer! If it’s warm and cozy, you’ll find me snoozing in it. Like my sisters, I also love curling up near you while you work during the day.

HOW I CAME TO PGSPCA

My sisters and I were hiding under an abandoned house, but we got hungry! Some nice people offered us yummy food and showed us that humans give great pets, and now we’re ready to find our furever homes.

MY DREAM HOME

I need a patient, understanding family who will let me blossom at my own speed. I must go to a home with other cats (or be adopted with a sister) so I have a confident buddy to help me see that the big wide world is fun and not scary!
