Hi, I'm Purrgil
Domestic Short Hair | Baby | Male | Small
About Me
Purrgil arrived a month after his littermates, small, flea-ridden, and malnourished, but you’d never guess it now. He’s rapidly catching up and gaining strength, and along with it, his playful side has come out in full force.
He’s got plenty of energy for play, though not quite at Bantha or Rancor’s level, and he balances it with a calm, caring presence. When he’s done eating, he goes looking for a lap and will purr contentedly for as long as he’s welcome. He’s one of the sweetest and most cuddly kittens in the litter, snuggling right into the pile at naptime and just as beloved by the humans who care for him. He loves pets and being brushed, though he’s still working on accepting nail trims, so a weekly routine would help him get more comfortable.
He’s good with adults and kids. His experience with dogs is unknown, so a dog-free introduction period would be a good idea if you have one at home.
How I Came to PGSPCA
Not every hero starts the journey at the same time. While his littermates were already settling into their secret base, word reached the rebellion of one more kitten still out in the colony, smaller, weaker, and running out of time.
When Purrgil finally arrived, he was in rough shape: underweight, flea-covered, and far behind where his littermates already were. But this rebel had more fight in him than anyone expected. With steady care, he began to catch up, gaining strength and weight week by week until the scrappy underdog became just as playful and full of life as the rest of his crew.
Now fully recovered, vaccinated, and ready for his next mission, Purrgil is searching the galaxy for the one thing every good story needs: a FURever home.
Dream Home
Purrgil would do best in a mild to less active household. He has energy and loves to play, but he’s just as happy cuddling up the moment his humans are around.
His calm presence makes him a great match for a more reserved or shy littermate — he has a way of drawing out their playfulness and coaxing them to join him on the lap for cuddles. Mudhorn or Wampa would both be great fits. Like his siblings, he needs to be adopted with a companion his age, ideally a littermate.
