Hi, I'm Joyce. I’m adopted!
Domestic Short Hair | Baby | Female | Small
At first glance, I look black but in the sun you can see I am really dark brown. I have a “fur necklace” and lighter fur on my eyebrows as well. I am small and look dainty but I have very quick reflexes and love to chase balls and mice. I especially like to play with toys on strings! When I capture a toy, I will often hide it in one of my special places – sometimes even under my pillow, then I know where they are so I can play with them again. I don’t like to be petted yet, but I do climb on my foster mom and will make biscuits or settle down for a short nap. I love to look out of the window from the top of the cat tree.
Hobbies: playing with toys, looking out the window
Favorite Toy: string toys and balls
Favorite Napping Spot: on the cat hammock or in a box.
HOW I CAME TO THE PGSPCA
I was in a very crowded house with my sister Fluffy. There were way too many cats. A nice lady rescued us and took us to the SPCA. I was extremely scared at first, but over time I realized that my foster mom would feed me and play with me, and I have become much more social. I am now ready to find my forever home!
I would love to find a home for me and one of my step brothers, where we can run and play. I haven’t spent time with kids or dogs and would need time to adjust if they’ll be a part of my new family. We love playing with string and balls and mice, and we would love to be part of a family who will take care of us — we will love you forever!
