Hi, I'm Ivy

Hi there… I’m Ivy! I’m a very sweet, soft-spoken, and loving tuxedo girl with big, beautiful green eyes. I’m a bit of a shy soul at first, and it takes me a little extra time and patience to realize I’m completely safe. But let me tell you a secret: treats are the absolute fast-track to my heart! Once I know I can trust you, I adore you so deeply. I will lie right next to you, purr like a tiny engine, gaze up at you with adoration, and give your hand sweet little thank-you licks while you pet me.

PERSONALITY

I may be quiet and unassuming when we first meet, but I promise to wiggle my way into your heart and stay there forever. My foster human says my tiny, adorable squeaks when I walk up to say “hi” will make you instantly melt! I love tall cat trees, big sunny windows, and running around with other kitties. There are so many exciting things in this wide world, and I can’t wait to discover them with you!

Favorite Toy: I have a cardboard scratching lounge shaped like a frog, and I am obsessed with it! It’s super comfy to nap on top of, and so fun to scratch when I get a burst of playfulness. A total win/win!

Favorite Napping Spot: There’s a cozy cat bed right up against a second-story window in my foster home, and it’s my absolute favorite spot to snooze. I can look out at the great wide world and quietly hatch my plans to rule it! Just like my sisters, I also love curling up next to you while you work.

HOW I CAME TO PGSPCA

My sisters and I were hiding under an abandoned house, but our tummies started rumbling! Some wonderful people fed us and showed us that humans are an endless source of affection, belly rubs, and yummy snacks. Now, we’re ready for our furever homes!

MY DREAM HOME

I need a gentle, patient family who is willing to give me the time, space, and tasty treats I need to feel comfortable. I must be in a home with other cats, and I specifically need a confident feline sibling (like my sister Ori!) to show me that big humans aren’t scary and that the world is full of fun!
