About Me

Ghost was adopted February 2023!

Ghost is a gentle giant. He gets along with dogs and humans. He has met one cat and she kind of scared him so he has avoided her ever since. He is very snuggly and would follow his foster mom around all day if he could, but he realizes that his foster brother claims that space. He respects his foster siblings. He lived outside for his entire life so he is a little new to house living but he has taken to it famously! He is a fan!

His foster mom thinks he is like a puppy, everything is wonderful, and much of his life now is new to him. He has bursts of playful energy where he bounds around a person but doesn’t jump. He happily greets each day with a big smile. He wants to be someone’s couch buddy!

He loves sleeping on a big chair, at the end of a sofa or on his giant dog bed. He likes soft toys and some chew toys like Petstages antlers. He likes to chew wood so it’s best to keep him in a puppy safe area for a while as he adapts to his new home.

Ghost is housetrained and hasn’t had a single accident since he came to his foster home 2 months ago. He stays confined to a room when nobody is home as well as at times when necessary when his foster mom is home. In all situations he settles down shortly and goes to sleep.

Ghost does have some medical issues. He has had chronic ear and skin infections which are being treated. His ears will likely need to be cared for regularly for his life. He has been a very good boy about daily cleaning or medicating and his foster mom can help show his new people the routine. He looks so good after good veterinary care.
