About Me
Eve was adopted August 2022!
Eve is a 2-year-old, 52 lb. spayed hound mix. It may take her a little bit to warm up to you, but once she does you’ll have an affectionate, loyal friend for life. She’s smart, food motivated, and listens. She knows sit, down and stay. She pulls a bit on the leash, especially if she sees a squirrel or wants to play with another dog, but she’s getting better. She’s great in the house; fully house-trained and perfectly happy quietly napping or playing with her toys. While she isn’t high-energy, she does need daily walks and some space for occasional “zoomies.”
In many ways, she is typical of her hound breed. She has a short, straight, brindled coat. She is an exceptional climber and not many fences would be able to keep her in. When she gets excited, her bark may sound fierce, but it’s meant to get you to play. Her tail wag is enthusiastic and her joy is infectious.
