Otis
Otis appears to be a small Terrier/Lab mix, and this little dude is seriously handsome! His shiny coat is accented with unique auburn markings and the cutest auburn eyebrows, giving him a look that is completely his own. He’s a striking little guy — and his personality is just as adorable as his face!
At just 11 weeks old, Otis is everything you could want in a puppy: loving, playful, funny, floppy, and incredibly friendly. He gets along with everyone he meets and is always ready for some fun, some snuggles, or whatever adventure comes next.
If you’re looking for a happy, handsome little guy to grow up alongside you, Otis is ready to meet you!
Sarlac
Sarlac is friendly through and through, always ready to climb into a lap for pets and snuggles between rounds of chasing toys with her siblings (and, of course, her naps). She’s a purring machine, rumbling away during mealtime and again the moment she’s getting love from her humans. She’s got energy to burn and plays until she tuckers herself out completely, often falling asleep wherever she lands mid-play.
Favorite Toy: TurboChaser and stalking feathers on a string like she’s hunting real birds
Favorite Napping Spot: Snuggling with her littermates
Sarlac is a typical female cat who looks out for her pride, and she’s every bit the diva, always making sure she’s “show ready.” Her eyes are what really seal the deal, though: one look up at you and she’ll have you handing over all the cuddles she can hold.
She’s good with kids, adults, other pets, and especially her littermates, who she loves cuddling and roughhousing with.
How I Came to PGSPCA
In a galaxy not so far away (okay, just next door), a small colony of cats had been living wild for years, multiplying in the shadows with no one looking out for them. Kittens would come and go, and no one really knew what became of them once they wandered off.
Then a family of rebels intervened. Determined to give these younglings a real shot at life, they smuggled the newest litter out of the colony and into a secret base (also known as the spare bathroom). It wasn’t glamorous, but it was safe, and that was enough to change everything.
The kittens arrived scrappy and small, fighting off infections that clouded their eyes. But with steady care and the Force of a good vet team behind them, they healed. Now, fully recovered, vaccinated, and ready for their next mission, they’re searching the galaxy for the one thing every good story needs: a furever home.
Dream Home
Like her siblings, Sarlac needs to be adopted alongside a mate. She’d pair especially well with a calmer, more laid-back companion — Mudhorn, Purrgil, or Wampa — to balance out her playful energy.
She’s excellent in the litter box, even covering up after her littermates. She loves being brushed and would welcome it as part of a regular routine, and due to her long hair coat, she does need the occasional cleanup assist to stay tidy back there.
She’d do best in a home ready to keep up with her playful side and give her plenty of active engagement.
Bantha

Bantha was lovable and friendly from the moment he arrived, so much so that his first nickname was Bestie, long before the Star Wars names stuck.
He arrived the sickest of his litter, likely the runt, but he’s made a full recovery and now has energy to spare. In fact, playtime is his favorite part of the day.
Hobbies: tussling and jumping around with his siblings
Favorite Toy: the TurboChaser (especially the light-up ball), anything with a bell, the Cat Catcher, and springs
Favorite Napping Spot: a shoulder perch with one of his foster family
He imprinted fully on his foster family, and there’s nothing he loves more than cuddles, pets, and being the center of attention. He has a low-maintenance coat, though he does enjoy a good brushing. He’s mid-training on weekly nail trims, so keeping that up would be a plus. Bath time is still a work in progress — he tends to get wiggly.

Dream Home
Bantha is looking for an indoor-only home ready to match his energy. He’d thrive with an active household that can keep up with his playtime, but he’s just as happy winding down for cuddles once the zoomies pass.
He’s bonded closely with his siblings and would do best going home with a playmate — ideally Wampa or Mudhorn, who are calmer but still very playful with their siblings and toys. Either would offer a good balance of energy for his forever home.
Esquire (also known as Skippy)
At just 10 months old, Esquire is the total package. This handsome pup walks beautifully on a leash, is crate and house trained, rides like a champ in the car, and is ready to find the family he’s been waiting for. His foster mom calls him Skippy because he’s the color of peanut butter!
Esquire loves everyone he meets, especially other dogs and kids, and he does well with cats, too. He’s always happy to wrestle with his foster brother or toss around his favorite toys, but at the end of the day, he’s all about the snuggles. Whether he’s curled up with a stuffed toy in his bed, spooning with his canine best friend, or convinced he’s a lap dog on his foster mom’s couch, Esquire is happiest when he’s close to the ones he loves. As you can tell from his pictures, he also has a favorite “stretch-it-out” sleeping position that cracks us up!
If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate adventure buddy who also happens to be a world-class cuddle bug, Esquire is ready to make your house his forever home.

Monty

Monty is an adorable little nugget of joy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s currently thriving in foster care where he gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even farm animals, happily fitting right into a lively, social home.
Monty is a great walking buddy who does well on leash and proudly carries sticks along the way like it’s his favorite hobby. He’s house-trained, easygoing, and just plain funny in all the best ways. His foster mom absolutely adores him, and he’s truly thriving in her care.
Monty is looking for a home where he can soak up plenty of attention, enjoy adventures outside, and then wind down curled up on the couch with his people. He’s affectionate, engaging, and ready to be someone’s constant companion — he really is something special.
Redz

Redz is wonderful on leash, enjoys car rides, loves the water, gets along beautifully with other dogs, takes treats as gently as can be and has been an absolute dream for his foster mom. He’s also very easy to train and knows sit, stay, down and shake. He’s the kind of companion who happily trots along by your side and makes every day a little brighter.
If you’re looking for a loyal best friend to share life’s adventures, both big and small, Redz is ready to meet you.
Teddy. I’m Adopted!
Some dogs are just the “goodest”. Teddy is one of them. Happy-go-lucky, brilliant, affectionate, playful, and endlessly charming, he’s the kind of companion who makes every day a little more fun.
Teddy is equally happy joining you on an adventure or snuggling up on the couch afterward. He’s house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and gets along wonderfully with dogs, kids, cats, and pretty much anyone he meets. In Teddy’s world, there are no strangers—just best friends he hasn’t met yet.
If you’re looking for a smart, well-rounded dog with a heart of gold and a zest for life, Teddy may just be your perfect match. ❤️
Gillie. I’m pending!
Gillie has a pending application!

This affectionate girl is house-trained, low-maintenance, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Whether she’s curled up in your lap, tagging along on errands, or simply relaxing by your side, Gillie is content just being loved and loving you right back.
If you’re looking for a calm, devoted companion who can happily go everywhere with you—or nowhere at all—Gillie is your gal. All she’s asking for is a lap to call her own and a family to spend her golden years with. ❤️
Snapple

If you’re looking for a best friend, playmate, and cuddle buddy all in one, Snapple is your guy! This goofy pupper loves everyone he meets—dogs, kids, and grown-up humans alike. His philosophy on life is simple: everyone is a friend he just hasn’t met yet.
Snapple is house-trained and has been doing wonderfully with working on his leash manners. He’s food-motivated, loves his treats, and would be more than happy to learn a party trick or two to show off at your next dinner party.
He’s also a baseball fan, as he proved at a recent Chesapeake Baysox game!
Whether he’s soaking up the sunshine, romping around with his dog friends, or curled up on the couch watching The Secret Life of Pets with his foster family, Snapple is happiest when he’s with his people. If you’re ready for a loyal companion who will keep you smiling every day, Snapple is ready to meet you. ❤️
