At just 10 months old, Esquire is the total package. This handsome pup walks beautifully on a leash, is crate and house trained, rides like a champ in the car, and is ready to find the family he’s been waiting for.

Esquire loves everyone he meets, especially other dogs and kids, and he does well with cats, too. He’s always happy to wrestle with his foster brother or toss around his favorite toys, but at the end of the day, he’s all about the snuggles. Whether he’s curled up with a stuffed toy in his bed, spooning with his canine best friend, or convinced he’s a lap dog on his foster mom’s couch, Esquire is happiest when he’s close to the ones he loves. As you can tell from his pictures, he also has a favorite “stretch-it-out” sleeping position that cracks us up!

Ella. ON HOLD!

We have received a large number of applications for Ella, and are not accepting new ones as we work our way through the ones that have come in.

Ella may have been born in South Carolina, but she was made for the Chesapeake. This tiny, one-year-old chocolate doodle is happiest anywhere there’s water, whether she’s paddle boarding, soaking up the sun, or taking a dip in the pool.

She is an absolute dream with the sweetest, most gentle personality. Ella loves dogs, cats, kids, and every grown-up she meets. She’s fully house- and crate-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and is the kind of easygoing companion who fits right into any adventure.

If you’re looking for a lovable little sidekick who will happily join you on the water and then cuddle up at home (after you’ve dried her off, of course!), Ella is ready to make every day a little brighter. 🤎 

Monty

Monty is an adorable little nugget of joy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s currently thriving in foster care where he gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even farm animals, happily fitting right into a lively, social home.

Monty is a great walking buddy who does well on leash and proudly carries sticks along the way like it’s his favorite hobby. He’s house-trained, easygoing, and just plain funny in all the best ways. His foster mom absolutely adores him, and he’s truly thriving in her care.

Monty is looking for a home where he can soak up plenty of attention, enjoy adventures outside, and then wind down curled up on the couch with his people. He’s affectionate, engaging, and ready to be someone’s constant companion — he really is something special. 

Redz

If you’re looking for the ultimate sidekick, Redz is your guy. This sweet, easygoing pup has one of the happiest dispositions of any dog you’ll ever meet. Most of all, he’s content wherever his people are—whether that’s on a walk, a hike, a trip to the beach, or curled up next to you on the couch.

Redz is wonderful on leash, enjoys car rides, loves the water, gets along beautifully with other dogs, takes treats as gently as can be and has been an absolute dream for his foster mom. He’s also very easy to train and knows sit, stay, down and shake. He’s the kind of companion who happily trots along by your side and makes every day a little brighter.

Gillie is a sweet little senior who has settled beautifully into her foster home. She adores her foster mom, loves spending time with her big Bloodhound foster brother, and is proving to be the easiest companion anyone could ask for.

This affectionate girl is house-trained, low-maintenance, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Whether she’s curled up in your lap, tagging along on errands, or simply relaxing by your side, Gillie is content just being loved and loving you right back.

Snapple

Brisky is looking for a home that can match his mild-to-medium energy level. He loves his toys, enjoys spending time outdoors, and is just as happy curling up on the couch for a movie night. While he’s a little timid around children, he isn’t unfriendly—he simply prefers slow introductions and would do best in a home without young kids.

Not much of a barker, Brisky still takes his job as household protector seriously and will make you feel both loved and safe. He’s smart, eager to learn, and with a few treats, he’ll probably have some entertaining party tricks mastered in no time. Her tail even does full-circle swirls when she’s happy!

Hazel may have had a rough start to life, so it takes her a short while to decompress in a new setting, but she hasn’t let it dim her spirit. She’s potty-trained, loves car rides, knows several commands, and is eager to learn more. She’s done wonderfully with her foster dog brother, adjusting her play style to match his, and would love a home with another playful pup.

With a perfect medium energy level, Hazel enjoys walks, exploring the yard, and playtime, but she’s equally happy to curl up for cuddles when the day is done. If you’re looking for a dog who will keep you laughing, make every day brighter, and love you with her whole heart, Hazel is your girl. ❤️

Benny is a happy, social boy who loves everyone he meets and would love to be part of an adventurous, loving family. He’s also very treat-motivated, making him eager to learn and easy to train. Although he’s already fully house-trained, we’re sure he would love to learn some new tricks to help entertain at your dinner parties.
