Mariah. I’m adopted!

Mariah was adopted January 2026!

Mariah is a sweet, affectionate little dog with a charming personality that’s impossible not to love. One of her most endearing quirks is the way she pirouettes as she walks, clearly delighted by the world around her.

Mariah thrives on companionship and would be happiest in a calm home where she can enjoy plenty of attention, cuddles, and quality time with her people. She has a nice balance of energy and enthusiasm, enjoys going for walks throughout the day, and will occasionally treat you to happy zoomies.

Mariah comes when called, knows how to sit, and is eager to please—especially when treats are involved—making continued training very achievable.

Housetraining has been a breeze when she’s taken out promptly after meals. She’ll also let you know when she needs a daytime potty break. Mariah tolerates being crated and is comfortable eating in her crate, though she prefers having free access to the main living areas of the home.

Mariah is hypoallergenic and requires moderate, regular grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable.

If you’re looking for a loving, devoted companion and can offer a calm, caring forever home, Mariah may be the perfect match for you. Please complete an application to meet her!

Oscar

Looking for a loyal companion who loves a good lap cuddle? I’m your guy! I’m a peaceful soul who thrives in a calm environment where I can nap in warm spots all day. I do value my personal space, so I’d prefer a home where I’m the only pet and where my humans understand that I’m much happier sitting next to you, or even on you, than being carried around.

Hobbies: Chasing sunbeams, hunting my foster’s ant farm (I’ll get ’em one day!), and being a lap warmer

HOW I CAME TO PGSPCA
I went through a bit of a rough patch when my previous owners moved on without me, but I didn’t let that dampen my spirit! Being found by a kind landlord was my lucky break, and it led me straight to the PGSPCA. Now that I’ve had a taste of the indoor life, I’ve decided I’m strictly a ‘luxury only’ cat who plans on spending the rest of my days safely tucked onto a warm lap.

DREAM FAMILY
I’m looking for a quiet, “grown-ups only” sanctuary where I can be the solo star of the show. If you have a calm house and a spare lap, I promise to be the most loyal, bug-hunting, sun-chasing companion you’ve ever had!

Elias

Elias (aka “Sir Licks A Lot”) is your typical wiggle-butt couch hippo who’s ready to charm his way straight into your heart. At 2 years old, he’s the perfect blend of playful energy and elite-level lounging – he plays hard and sleeps even harder.

This affectionate, people-loving little chunker is crate-trained and lives for toys, wrestling with his foster brother, and – true to his nickname – giving endless kisses. Elias would do great in a home with another playful dog, but he’d also be perfectly happy as an only “child,” soaking up all the love and attention.

If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, loyal companion, Elias (Sir Licks A Lot) is ready to meet you!

Chester

If you enjoy a walk through a winter wonderland, then relaxing on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate, Chester is the perfect dog for you! He loves long walks, yummy food and belly rubs, and he gives delicious kisses. He is also a good travel buddy and will follow you anywhere but is happy to chill on his own.

Want a forever friend and family member? Consider giving Chester a warm place to spend those frosty nights!

Bentley

Bentley is quite typical of what you would expect in a terrier (even though there’s no terrier in his background)! He likes to run, leap and hunt for prey in his foster mom’s backyard.

But this same strong, fearless hunter, gets weak at the knees when it comes to men. In fact, he would have been better named Courage the Cowardly dog, due to his somewhat peculiar fear of men.

Therefore, this strong warrior, a mix of Chihuahua, Chow Chow, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Shih Tzu, Doberman Pinscher and American Cocker Spaniel, is a sensitive, eager-to-please ladies’ man and would be best suited as the only dog with a female owner who enjoys an active, but loyal and joyous dog.

Mischief

I’m a nester.  I will claim my space and my human.  I have currently chosen a lovely spot in a cabinet under a sink and made it my own.  Once I feel comfortable and see no threats (real or perceived), I will make my nest in the crook of your arm and warm your heart.

Hobbies:
I love to search for nooks and crannies to call my vacation homes.  I also love starting out the window and being glad I’m inside.

HOW I CAME TO PGSPCA
I was an outside cat for a while and trapped to be fixed.  I surprised everyone that I was already spayed and once had a person.  I don’t remember how I ended up outside, it was a long time ago. Instead of being released, I was brought back to PGSPCA and I’m ready to be an indoor cat again.

DREAM FAMILY
I would like to be your only pet.  I promise I will take all of the love and attention you have to offer.

Moxie

For a cat named Moxie, I’m the most timid cat you’ll ever meet.  At first….  Once you make me feel at home, you’ll be rewarded with the honor of petting my soft fur.  Eventually I’ll come to rest and snuggle on your arm and you’ll never want to move.

Hobbies: I don’t play much but I love to nap, clean my little half siblings, and snuggle my human.

HOW I CAME TO PGSPCA
I was part of the first litter that my mama, Mimi, brought to a kind lady.  After mama delivered her second litter at Kind Lady’s house, many of us came to PGSPCA to find our furever homes that will be just right for us.

DREAM FAMILY
I would be happiest somewhere quiet.  I like other cats, especially kittens, but don’t care for loud dogs, even if they only want to be my friend.

Mimi

I have been a mama for two beautiful litters of kittens.  I raised them well and now I am ready to be someone’s only baby.  I love being the center of attention. I love snuggles but I dole them out judiciously.

Hobbies: I enjoy long baths (candlelight optional) and playtime with catnip toys.

HOW I CAME TO PGSPCA
I was a mama of two litters of kittens that I brought to a nice lady who couldn’t keep all eleven of us so PGSPCA is helping to find us furever homes.

DREAM FAMILY
A family of humans, with no other cats or dogs to steal my spotlight!

Trudie. I’m adopted!

Trudie was adopted January 2026!

Hello! I hope you’re having a great day, I know I am! My name is Trudie. I am very playful and energetic. I am also a huge cuddler and thrive when I’m given attention and affection. If I’m not chasing a toy, you can bet I’ll be in your lap or right next to you. I’ve also got a strong pair of lungs that I’m not afraid to use, especially at dinner time. Don’t let my size fool you, I’m scrappy and never back down from a game of tug-of-war. Admittedly, you might want to keep an eye on me while I learn the routines of my new home and how to stay out of trouble. I’m so excited to meet you!

Hobbies: Anything and everything as long as we’re doing it together! Chasing a toy mouse? Amazing. Tug-of-war with an old sock? Count me in. Rubbing up against you for some cuddles? Absolutely. There’s no shortage of ways I can think to spend our time and I can get pretty creative.

DREAM FAMILY
I’d love a family that can match my energy and loving personality. I’d thrive with a companion who loves cuddles and spending time together. If you’re looking for a shadow (literally and figuratively) I’m your girl.

Trixie. I’m adopted!

Trixie was adopted January 2026!

I am a very relaxed girl. I enjoy lounging around, but don’t be fooled, I like to take strolls around the house during the day. I am very mild-mannered and independent. Don’t worry if I am not super cuddly all the time, I simply like my personal space, but will sit with you while you work or watch a movie. I’ve also been told I am a 10/10 loaf.

Hobbies:  I’m very curious and love to explore, although at my own leisurely pace. Every once in a while, I’ll surprise you with a burst of energy and want to play. It may be a bit unpredictable, but that’s half the fun!

DREAM FAMILY
I will thrive in a nice, peaceful environment. I enjoy the calm and quiet and a steady routine, and my ideal home would not have too much chaos or unpredictability.
