About Me

Zeus was adopted December 2020!

I’m Zeus, a large, goofy Shepherd/hound/take your pick mix. I’m a young male and have medium-length fur with redtick coloring. My foster family calls me “plug and play” because as soon as they brought me home in mid-November I was eager for them to be my playmates.

I’m smart, food-motivated and fully house trained. I already know basic commands like sit, down and stay, but could use some more consistent training. I come when called and I’m very good on a leash, although sometimes I’d rather chase a squirrel or play with the dogs and people I meet along the way. I can be boisterous when excited, but can calm down quickly and I’m not destructive. I only chew on my toys, which are my favorite things. I need daily exercise and would love a walking or running companion and I’m always up for a good game of fetch. When relaxed, I’m pretty mellow and will happily lay on my dog bed and wait for you to come over to snuggle or give me a belly rub.

I’m a quiet and gentle and hoping to find my new best friend.
