Tallulah was adopted November 2022!
My foster mommy says stuff to me like “Such a little spitfire” and “I love your tortie-tude” and “how does something so small purr so loud?” I’m not small! (Ok, I’m smaller than my brother and sister.) But size is a mindset and I know I’m big! I’m a mighty huntress! I run and jump and pounce the toys! All the toys!
I’m not good at being held because I know hands are for pets and playing! When foster mommy tries to hold me I kind of let her but then I get excited and I want to play and be petted! I might even try to grab your hand and pull it in for proper pets. But I do like to cuddle right next to foster mommy to get the best pets; it’s very warm and cozy to cuddle right next to humans. I even like belly pets sometimes!

NOTE: We are an all volunteer group and do not operate a shelter. All of our animals are in foster homes. If you are not local to the DMV area, but are interested in one of our adoptable pets, that's okay. If you're approved to adopt, we can work out the geography!
