Hi, I'm Spock & McCoy. We’re adopted!

About Me
Spock and McCoy were adopted September 2022!
SPOCK’S PERSONALITY
I am polydactyl, which means I have extra toes! My foster mom calls me “Thumbs” as a nickname. I love human attention and start to purr as soon as my human walks into the room. I will roll over for belly rubs and I love cuddling. I come when called and I love playing with toys. I’m super busy, but will always be happy to stop for pets and scritches. I am suspicious of new people and pets, and I may be a little growly at first, but it’s all for show. I’m a love bug.
Hobbies: batting around little toys, attacking imaginary prey
Favorite Toy: cat dancers (a felt and fiber toy that I carry around in my mouth)
Favorite Napping Spot: on my foster mom’s lap
MCCOY’S PERSONALITY
Like my brother, I am super into my people. I purr easily and often, and I roll over for belly rubs. I’m a cuddler but also very playful. I am very interested in my human’s food and can sometimes be a little pushy about asking for a bite. I also come when called and I love to run and chase. My foster mom says that I am seriously the best foster cat she has ever had; she’s tempted to keep me all to herself, that’s how great I am.
Hobbies: rough-housing with my brother
Favorite Toy: tunnels and strings
Favorite Napping Spot: the top of the cat tree
HOW WE CAME TO THE PGSPCA
We were born in a PG cat colony and things weren’t going well for our momma. She was sick and underweight. The feeder trapped us and took us to the PGSPCA clinic, where Mom was treated for an infection and got spayed. She found a great home and then we went into foster care. We’ve loved our foster home but we look forward to finding a family of our own!
DREAM FAMILY
We are active kitties and are bonded, so we’re looking for a place we can stay together. We like hide-and-seek, ball toys, and chasing. We need room to run and tussle, and cushy places to nap. We love interactive toys and playing with our humans, but we’re are big cuddlers too. We’re happiest when we’re sleeping near (or on) our humans.
