About Me

Sam was adopted June 2018!

Although you may not like Green Eggs and Ham, I promise you will love Sam I am!

And Sam likes everybody!! In fact, anybody who adores an affectionate, teeny kissing machine, that likes to snuggle under your chin and give you soft kisses, will absolutely adore Sam!
Sam is a perfect package of fun! He can run and tumble with his other four foster brothers and sister, who are double his size. Within a few minutes, this little fire plug will curl up on his doggie bed and take a long, quiet nap.
Sam loves playing in the yard or going for a walk, but most of all, he loves his family and other friendly dogs of any age and size He will often come up and check to see if you or one of his doggie siblings are free to cuddle him or play for a few minutes. And if a new friend happens to reject him at first, he will quickly charm him with his genuine interest and desire to please.
So, you may not like Green Eggs and Ham, but this easygoing lover of all foods, friends, and fun will make you a true fan of Sam I am!

NOTE: We are an all volunteer group and do not operate a shelter. All of our animals are in foster homes. If you are not local to the DMV area, but are interested in one of our adoptable pets, that's okay. If you're approved to adopt, we can work out the geography!
