About Me

Rocky was adopted November of 2017!

Watch me run!

Rocky is a 27lb neutered Boston Terrier who is 9 years old. No one told Rocky he’s a senior — he behaves like a dog half his age. In fact his favorite playmate was a 9 month Coonhound!

Rocky came to us 5lbs heavier but he’s been on a highly nutritious diet that includes grain-free kibble, real vegetables and fruit and fish oil and he loves it! His coat has improved drastically too. The vet says he’s now at an ideal weight and he has no health issues. Rocky has not had a house-training lapse in the 2 months in his foster home.

Rocky is very social and loves to hang out and wrestle with other dogs. His favorite game with people or dogs is tug-of-war. Sometimes dogs think he’s messing with them when he barks or takes their toy but he’s really just inviting them to play chase or tug:). Rocky likes to communicate vocally.

Even though Rocky is a little guy he loves to run (see video) and needs a fenced yard. He also needs companionship so homes where family is away for relatively short periods and who have a compatible dog are ideal.
