About Me

Pollux and Castor were adopted July 2023!

My name is Pollux and I was rescued with my twin brother, Castor, from a parking lot in Oxon Hill. When I was first trapped, I was covered in fleas and had such a bad eye infection, the vet thought I would have to lose my eye! I was so scared of humans! But my foster mom was kind and loving and she diligently put medicine in my eyes and held me gently so I would feel safe. Today, you would have a hard time telling which eye I was even supposed to lose. My eyes, and my adorable ear tufts, are absolutely gorgeous!

I am very affectionate and I join my brother Castor to lay on our foster mom’s lap and cuddle. Thankfully, there is always enough room for both of us, I just want to be closer! We like to cuddle and purr. We also love wet food! We only eat Sheba pâté because my tummy gets unsettled with other brands.

I love to play with my brother and race up and down the cat trees. I also like to hunt wand toys and crinkly balls. I’ll do almost anything for catnip and Temptations cat treats!

My dream home is one where I can always have my brother Castor by my side and have lots of kitty adventures together!
