Hi, I'm Oso. I’m adopted!
Shar-Pei Terrier | Young | Male | Medium
About Me
Oso was adopted September 2019!
See Oso, the movie, here: oso_2
Oso is a happy, smart, athletic dog who’s looking for his human counterpart.
Oso’s adopter would be committed to keeping his mind and body fit, using positive training methods to get the best from him. He’s already trained to come to his name or a whistle, sit, stay, shake hands, and lie down, and could be an outstanding agility or hiking dog. Oso bonded quickly to his foster person and is highly motivated to please.
Oso loves his friends, giving kisses and cuddles to people and animals alike. He lives happily with a variety of other dogs but he would be an ideal playmate for a dog who loves to chase, tug and wrestle. His fondness for making contact, while good-natured, may mean he would be best with older kids. A quiet dog, Oso observes everything but seldom barks.
Oso loves his toys and prances around holding his big Kong ball by the handle, prancing, shaking and squeaking with delight (see video). He’s such a happy goofball!
Although Oso has lived with a cat, his desire to play was not always appreciated.
Sporting a beautiful short, black coat with a few distinctive white highlights, Oso doesn’t seem to shed much and has only basic grooming needs.
If you’re looking for a buddy with a great personality to share your active, dog-centric lifestyle, come meet Oso!
