About Me

Mickey was adopted September 2017!

Mickey (short for Michaela) was found in a nest when she was only 6 days old. One of her littermates had been killed and mom was nowhere to be found. The finder named the two remaining kittens Mickey and Rooney. One of our volunteers, an experienced veterinary technician, bottlefed and mothered Mickey and her sister for several weeks, until they were ready for a foster home. As they grew, we learned they were girls! But the names stuck.

Mickey is now 4 months old and her sister Rooney has already been placed, so she’s anxious for a home of her own! She is litter trained, super sweet, and very cuddly. Her distinct marking and coat coloring make her a very striking feline. She has been dewormed, has had all her shots, has been spayed, and microchipped. This incredibly cute and playful little girl is READY! Are you?
