About Me

Mickey was adopted August 2019!

What’s more lucky than finding a four leaf clover on St. Patrick’s Day? Finding this precious jewel who was abandoned by someone at the PGSPCA spay and neuter clinic, in Forestville, over the holiday weekend. This undernourished but exceptionally sweet waif needed to be shaved down due to matted hair and was in desperate need of a “manicure” to trim his unhealthy, long nails. Additionally, this brave sweetie had a dental to pull out badly decayed teeth.

Despite the trauma, this “miracle dog” not only survived but is thriving! He has gained weight, become perkier and although he’s not ready to romp and roll, he is slowly developing more energy and stamina. He has his own quirky, quiet, but sweet personality and occasionally will “talk” to let you know he’s hungry or needs to go outside.

Mickey would do well in a quiet home and although he gets along well with other dogs, he would do exceptionally well as an only pet. Won’t you consider giving this sweet pup the second chance he deserves?
