About Me

Lucky was adopted October 2020!

PERSONALITY

I’m a sweet, loving, playful boy! I take a few days to adjust to new people but once I do, I follow them around asking for chin and tummy rubs. I use my paws like hands, tapping my foster mom’s leg to let her know I want scratches and pulling her hand in to keep the attention going. I also recently realized how comfortable my foster mom’s lap is and I might become a lap cat. If my foster mom wants to know where I am, she just calls me and I always talk back with little meows. I love to play, but I definitely love being petted the most. At breakfast every morning I need to be petted before I’ll eat. It is also very important to be clean, so I spend a lot of time grooming myself to make sure I stay handsome. I also enjoy following my foster family’s old dog around the house. She’s not so sure about me and tries to avoid me, but I think she is warming up to me – she lets me touch noses with her now.

Hobbies: talking with my foster mom, playing with toys and following the dog
Favorite Toy: feathers on string and my ball that makes bird sounds
Favorite Napping Spot: I can nap anywhere, but I like laps!

HOW I CAME TO THE PGSPCA

I was living in a large outdoor colony and never had thought about living indoors. But I got a large wound on my cheek and my feeder noticed it wasn’t healing, so she brought me to a vet. I immediately decided I liked all the attention and food I was getting, so I was happy to stay inside, and now I’m looking for a family to love me forever.

DREAM FAMILY

I need a quiet house and a family that will be patient as I get to know them. I get attached very quickly when I see that you’re nice to me. I will need some hiding spots at first, but don’t worry–once I trust you, I’ll barely use them! Also since my favorite thing is to spend time with my human, I would love a family that is home often so I have company.

My Profile

  • Age: 1-2 years
  • Good with kids: I've never met kids, but young ones will probably scare me.
  • Good with dogs: I'm good with calm dogs.
  • Good with other cats: I’m not sure. I lived in a colony, but I kept to myself and didn’t like to be too close with them.
  • Suitable for townhouse and/or apartment: I could live in a townhouse or an apartment.
  • Activity level: My activity level is moderate.
