About Me
Joyful is one of those seniors that is as peppy as a teenager, but without the attitude. She’s a sweet and sensitive little girl, who is always up for a walk or a car ride (she has been known to enjoy a quick trip to McDonald’s so her mom can get a Big Mac and fries). In the evening, she likes to lie on the couch and watch a little TV (Animal Planet is her favorite). She knows lots of commands, including Sit, Come, Down, This Way, Out, and the ever popular Rollover.
Joyful is looking for a new home because her mom had to move into an assisted living facility that doesn’t take pets. So Joyful is looking for a new mom (or dad) to bond with and love. Could that be you?

NOTE: We are an all volunteer group and do not operate a shelter. All of our animals are in foster homes. If you are not local to the DMV area, but are interested in one of our adoptable pets, that's okay. If you're approved to adopt, we can work out the geography!
