About Us

Jack and Jill were adopted January 2023!

JACK’S PERSONALITY
I am very friendly and affectionate. As soon as I see a human, I want them to pet me! I love being on my foster mom’s lap and cuddling with my sister Jill while she pets us both. It is a competition as to who can purr louder! Jill and I are identical twins, but I have a little kink on my tail that sets me apart!

I like to wrestle with my sister and chase her playfully. I’m a big fan of cat trees and windows! Even though I lived outside until just recently, I have no problem with the litter box!

JILL’S PERSONALITY
I love people and start purring as soon as they touch me, sometimes even as soon as I see them reaching out for me! I think people’s laps are awesome and I love climbing on them for ear rubs.

I like to wrestle with my brother, and I also like to cuddle with him for naps. I’m learning all about cat trees and windows and I love them!. Even though I lived outside until just recently, I took to using the litter box like a champ!

Favorite toy: Each other! We have lots of fun together climbing up the cat trees and also like chasing toy mice and toys with bells on them.

HOW WE CAME TO THE PGSPCA
We were living outside as part of a colony of unowned cats in a field in Oxon Hill. One day we saw a girl getting off the school bus and she seemed nice. Jack and I really wanted to have an inside home and we decided to follow her home. She took us in, but her family couldn’t keep us. We are so lucky to get a foster home.

DREAM HOME
Our dream home is one where we can always have each other by our side and we can have endless adventures together.
