About Me

Cinder was adopted May 2020!

PERSONALITY

I’m super playful and easy going. I love everyone – whether they have two legs or four legs, and I love getting attention from my two-legged friends! I get anxious and upset when confined to a small space or left alone, and need a human or kitty friend to keep me company.

Hobbies: Chasing any toy with feathers and snuggles with my foster Mom.
Favorite Toy: Feathers and catnip!
Favorite Napping Spot: Cuddled up with my foster mom or foster cat sibling.

HOW I CAME TO THE PGSPCA

I was found by a volunteer trapping feral cats. I trotted right up to her and said, “Can I go into the trap, please??” She thought I was someone’s lost pet, but I didn’t have a microchip. I was taken to the Prince George’s County Animal Shelter in hopes that my family would find me. But no one came for me, so I joined the PGSPCA foster program.

I am settling in nicely.  I’m getting along with my foster mom’s other cats and was curious about the dog that came to visit. I’ve met some young children (ages 6 and 2) and I liked them as soon as I realized they were nice.

DREAM FAMILY

I would love a family that has lots of cat trees to climb, near windows so I can look outside. I have tons of energy and need a feline friend to play with and reassure me that I’m not alone. I enjoy being where all the people are and I love telling them about my day…Meow, Meow, Meow (that means I napped a lot and now I am ready to play). I’d also like to snuggle up at night in my human’s bed.
