About Me

Cherry was adopted June 2024!

If you can’t tell from my photos, I am a schnauzer mixed with joy and love… and maybe some corgi, since I have really short legs. But I don’t shed!

I live with my foster family: 3 chihuahuas and a yorkie-mix (2 boys and 2 girls). I am selective about who I like. So, if you plan to adopt me, I will need to meet all my new brothers and sisters first.

My mom says I’m really smart. I saw how she makes my brothers and sisters sit and wait to be released for dinner, so I did that, too. I am motivated by food and treats and would be willing to learn new tricks for a cookie or a bone. I know to go outside and haven’t had any accidents in the house since I’ve been here. Mom and I also play fetch with my favorite stuffed toy.

I had hip surgery on May 9, and I am almost 100% healed. I run around the yard, jump on the sofa (don’t tell mom!), and –my favorite–go for walks to visit the nearby sheep. After a hard day chasing squirrels and protecting the house, I love to cuddle and watch Netflix.
