About Me

Castor and Pollux were adopted July 2023!

My name is Castor and I was rescued with my twin brother, Pollux, from a parking lot in Oxon Hill where my foster mom is doing TNR. Life in a busy parking lot is not safe for anyone, much less for 2 young kittens and I have the scars to prove it!. When we were first trapped, we were scared, confused, and covered in fleas. Humans had never been kind to us before so we did not want to be touched by them! But our foster mom showed us love and patience, and yummy food! By the second day inside I just wanted her to hold me and pet me all the time.

I am very curious and like to explore everywhere. I am also very affectionate and love to cuddle and nap on my foster’s lap every chance I get. I love being held like a baby while I nap. Most of the time Pollux joins me and we purr happily. When our foster is not home, I love to nap on the very top of the cat tree. I also love meal time! Wet food is the best!

My favorite toy is my brother! Lol. We love to wrestle and chase each other up and down the cat trees! My wish is that we will be adopted together so we can always have each other. I also love wand toys, and bouncy balls, and crinkly balls! I don’t think I’ve met a toy I didn’t love! Catnip and Temptations cat treats are my weakness.

My dream home would be one where I am adopted with Pollux and we continue playing together in our forever home!
