About Me

Olympia was adopted January 2018!

Olympia was picked up as a stray by a local shelter and never claimed.
She is a happy and sweet girl who just loves her people! She is some
type of sheltie/collie mix – a little too big to be a sheltie, but not
big enough for a collie. A nice medium sized pup! She is still very
young – only about a year – so still needs some training in proper
doggie manners, like not jumping up. She is very smart and quick to
learn and would do well bonding with her new owner over some formal
training sessions.

Olympia is a girl on the go and wants to be out exploring the world.
She will need an active family that can provide her lots of exercise
and simulation.

While she seems to do OK with other dogs, she has a very high herding
instinct (typical of her breed) which other dogs don’t always seem
very fond of. So she might do best living as an only dog, but can
be a great playmate with a dog who likes a “paws on” style of play.
