About Me

Lola was adopted December 2020!

Lola catches your eye with her cute looks, but she grabs your heart with her sweet ways! Lola is a striking-looking dog. She’s got the salt-and-pepper coloring of an Australian cattle dog and the body shape of a smaller dog like a terrier … but only her mother knows what kind for sure;)

Lola loves to cuddle up next to you or if that’s not possible, curl up in her little bed close to you. Lola’s house training has been 100% in her foster home. Lola’s crate is her den and she is very happy to be there overnight or while you’re out.

Lola co-exists happily with the other dogs in her foster home. She actively plays with her foster home’s 15 pound terrier mix but would be happy to be an only dog. She’d love to have you all to herself!

Lola LOVES food and uses a maze-feeder dog dish to help her slow down. Her enthusiasm for food, desire to please and intelligence make Lola very trainable, and her response to “Lola come!” is instant. Her energy and nimbleness make her a good prospect for agility or other training. Still, Lola’s quite happy to have 3 or 4 walks a day to satisfy her exercise needs.

Lola had experienced a lot of hair loss when we first got her, but she’s responded very well to a medicated shampoo which the vet suggests using monthly. Lola’s hair is still is still thin in some places but seems to be slowly growing in. She’s not a big fan of the cold and appreciates a jacket or coat to wear.

Lola’s great company, especially in these trying times. She’s loyal, loving and just waiting to become the best thing you’ll remember about 2020.
