Members receive our newsletters, other important SPCA/HS information, and can fully participate in the operations of our organization. Our membership fees are $20 (annual single), $30 (annual family), and $100 (lifetime per individual). Please click here, pay the appropriate dues (and if you wish, a donation), and get involved! Our membership application can be found online, or at our clinic, or at adoption shows.

Come to a Volunteer Orientation!
We hold volunteer orientation once a month, prior to an adoption show; the shows begin at 12:00n, but the volunteer orientation starts at 11:30am. In April, volunteer orientation will held before the Columbia adoption show on the 3rd Saturday of the month. In May, it will precede the Bowie adoption show (4th Saturday), and in June, it will be before the Kensington adoption show (2nd Saturday), and so on for the remainder of the year.

You must be 18 or older to volunteer with us as we currently have no programs or projects for youth participation.

Come to a Show!
We have three shows a month and the schedule is quite regular. Our entire show schedule, with maps and store information, can be seen at Dog & Cat Shows.
