About Me

Indie was adopted October 2018!

Indie is what’s known as a “cow cat” or a “moo cat”, because of the cow-like patterns on his fur. Such cats are also called pied, harlequin, bicolor, magpie, or patched cats. But no matter how you describe his unique look, he is plain awesome.

Given up by his owners because they were moving out of state, Indie has been through a lot lately. He was boarded for 3 months, but life in a cage didn’t suit him. A kindly veterinarian wanted a better life for Indie and reached out to us. He’s now in foster care and he’s loving the chance to be in a home again.

Indie is super friendly to all he meets. He gets along well with people, dogs, and other cats. This gentle boy weighs 14 pounds and is playful and very affectionate. He likes to talk to his foster mom, follows her around the house, and sometimes even thinks he’s a lap cat. He is neutered, microchipped, FIV/Feleuk negative, and up-to-date on all his shots. Do you have a spot for this wandering soul?
