Celebrate your lifelong love of animals with a lifetime gift to the SPCA/HS of Prince George's County. Through a will or trust, you can bequeath a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or even all or part of the remainder of your estate. You can also bequeath specific assets to the SPCA/HS including stocks, real estate, or other property. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered in the state of Maryland, and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

If you want our organization to benefit from your gift, you must be specific with our name and location; many animal welfare organization similar names, but they all operate independently of one another.

Other Planned Giving Options

You can also support the SPCA/HS with a gift of Life Insurance, either by naming our organization as a beneficiary on the policy or by transferring ownership of the policy to the SPCA/HS. Or, you can name the SPCA/HS as a beneficiary of your Retirement Account (an IRA, 401(k), 403 (b), Keogh account, or other qualified retirement plan).
