Rufus immediately jumped into my heart when I met him at Bowie PetsMart. I had just lost my previous dog and something about this little (ok, big) puppy with the crooked leg let me know he was going to be a part of my life. I stayed at PetsMart for the entire show bonding with Rufus, and making sure no one else put in an application on him. Rufus has been nothing but fun since the day I brought him home. He is such a gentle giant. Other than a very thorough face-kissing process, he is friendly with all kids and adults he meets. He loves the dog park and has even managed to become friends with my resident cranky cat. Rufus's foster-mom Mary has continued to maintain contact with me and we even get to visit her at the PetsMart shows, which makes Rufus very happy. Although, pretty much everything makes Rufus very happy! Thank you to the PG SPCA/HS and to Mary for bringing Rufus into my life.
