Usually the first Sunday of every month from 1pm to 3pm. Check the Events listings for our next date, the address, and directions. 

For other low-cost shot options, please check with the Washington Animal Rescue League, check with your local PETCO store, or call 301-262-5625 and leave a message in Box #6.

Can't afford to spay or neuter your pet?

FREE Spay/Neuter:  We can help qualified county residents have their pets altered at reduced or no cost. (If your pet does not have a rabies shot, you will be required to pay $10 for one at the time of surgery.) Qualifications for assistance vary according to household size. Low-Cost Spay/Neuter:  Our low-cost spay/neuter clinic is currently open only for special events. See our calendar for more information. The Prince George's County Shelter has recently opened The Spay Spot and you can reach them at (301) 254-8151.  Also, the Washington Humane Society offers low-cost spay/neuter at their Navy Yard location in Northwest DC. For more information, please call 202-88ALTER. 

Alternatively, we may be able to give you a low-cost referral to a private veterinarian.Call 301-262-5625 and leave a message in Box #6. We plan to reopen our clinic, which altered over 20,000 animals in five years. We are proud of the work we've done and hope to continue offering this valuable service to the community. Your donations will help.
