Rabies shots are $8; distemper shots are $12. We also offer microchipping for $25. Cash and credit card only; no checks. All animals must be leashed or in a carrier. Bring an up-to-date rabies certificate if you have one; without it the animal will be given a 1-year vaccine.

Can't afford to spay or neuter your pet?

We may be able to help qualified county residents have their pets altered at no cost. (If your pet does not have a rabies shot, you will be required to pay $5 for one at the time of surgery.) Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic -- Prince George's County animals are DYING for you to be responsible! Please spay or neuter your pets!

Our low-cost spay/neuter clinic is not currently operating, but the Washington Humane Society offers low-cost spay/neuter at their Navy Yard location in Northwest DC. We plan to reopen our clinic, which altered over 20,000 animals in five years. We are proud of the work we've done and hope to continue offering this valuable service to the community. Your donations will help.
