Boomer was adopted December 2021!
If you’re looking for a sweet dog with a sweet face – I’m your man! I love being loved and getting pet! Although I might seem a bit shy at first, I warm up quickly, especially if you have treats! I’ll lean on you to make it easier for you to rub my chest.
I really like being outside. When I’m not barking at birds and people in the street, I sit on the hill in the back yard and survey my domain. It didn’t take me long to learn how to use the doggie door, so my foster mom didn’t have to keep opening the door for me. I’m not much of a ball player, but I’ve found a few bones in the toy box that I like to chew on. And if you give me a Kong with peanut butter in it, I’m good for at least a half-hour!
I like to lay around with my foster family, and follow them when they walk around the house. I also like checking out what’s on the counter in the kitchen – it’s often good stuff! I get the feeling I’m not supposed to do that, though.
I’d like my forever family to have a fenced yard and another active dog that would wrestle and play chase with me. Could that be you?
